Florida Psychologists

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

The Florida Board of Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is approved by the American Psychological Association.

NetCE is approved by the Florida Board of Psychology, CE Broker Provider #50-2405. NetCE will electronically report successful course completions to CE Broker.

Continuing Education Requirement

Psychologists are required 40 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study. A minimum of 3 of the 40 hours must be in ethics and Florida Statutes and rules affecting the practice of psychology, 2 in medical errors (every licensing period), and 2 in domestic violence (every third renewal period).
