Georgia Psychologists

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

The Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists accepts courses from any provider who is approved by the American Psychological Association.

Continuing Education Requirement

Psychologists are required 40 hours every two years, 10 of which may be taken in Area V- Self Instructional.* A minimum of 6 of the 40 hours must be in ethics (may not be in Area V) every two years.

*NetCE courses are considered Area V- Self Instructional.
