Antibiotics Review - Choosing an antibacterial agent can be challenging, given the wide array of drugs available. Ventricular Arrhythmias - Clinical management of people with ventricular arrhythmias focuses on evaluation of the individual's risk for sudden cardiac death and on control of troublesome symptoms. This course describes the electrophysiology of ventricular arrhythmias and the related pathophysiology. Procedures for the immediate management of life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias are presented, including current ACLS guidelines. Current therapies, including ICD therapy, antiarrhythmic medications, electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation, and surgical procedure are also discussed. The module concludes with simulated case studies.
