1. I forgot my password and/or User ID. Can you email it to me?
What if I have changed my email address?

If you know your User ID, go to our User ID/password recovery page and follow the instructions. If you don't know your User ID, you can use the User ID/password recovery page and follow the instructions or you may register a new account. Upon registering a new account, you will need to call a Customer Service Representative at (800) 232-4238 to retrieve information from any previous accounts.

If you initially registered using your previous email address as your User ID, you may continue to log in using the old email address, and then proceed to update your information by clicking "Edit" next to your "Name and Email" under your Profile. If you have also forgotten your password, and are unable to register a new account or have the password sent to your current email address by following the process above, you will need to call a Customer Service Representative at (800) 232-4238 to verify and update your information.

2. Can I access course materials online without paying or applying for CE credit?

Yes, you may browse our Course Listings and are welcome to read or print the course material, complete assessment questions and receive instant feedback without obligation. You will be asked for credit card information only if you apply for CE credit.

3. How do I complete a CME Resource course?

To complete a CME Resource course:

  • Review the course material online or in print
  • Complete the mandatory test and/or evaluation and receive immediate feedback.
  • Review your Transcript to view and print your Certificate of Completion. Your date of completion will be the date (Pacific Time) the course was electronically submitted for credit, with no exceptions. Partial credit is not available.

4. How are CME Resource courses accredited?

When you have clicked on the title of any course in our Course Listings, the complete accreditation information for your selected profession is listed on the Course Overview page. To view accreditation information by profession, click on the Accreditations/Approvals tab at the top of the page.

5. I have your catalog with a Special Offer inside. How do I pay for and complete the special offer?

Proceed to Special Offers and select the Special Offer you would like to complete. Then, prepay for the offer using your credit card. After you prepay, you can continue to complete the course assessment questions and evaluations, or you can return and complete them later using your Portfolio. Your Portfolio allows you to access your Transcript, a complete listing of all courses purchased and completed for credit, including certificates of successful completion that have been issued to you. It also shows courses that have been purchased, but not yet completed.

6. Can I order courses online to have mailed to me?

Certainly. For an additional $6 per course, when you have added the selected courses to your Order, you will be able to select the option to have the course content mailed to you. This option is not available for courses that expire within thirty days of the purchase date. Courses purchased and completed online are currently not subject to this additional fee. You may additionally complete for credit all CME Resource/NetCE courses online, whether you have received them by mail or accessed them online. Special Offers are not applicable; please contact a Customer Service Representative at (800) 232-4238 for assistance.

7. What is in my Transcript?

Your Transcript includes the following components:

  • Courses in Progress: Courses purchased, but not yet completed for credit, as well as courses with completed tests or evaluations, but not yet purchased.
  • Completed NetCE Activities: a complete listing of your certificates of completion.
  • Completed Outside Activities: a list of courses you have completed with another provider (if you have entered this information using the CE Tracker tool in your Portfolio). Outside activities cannot be verified by CME Resource or NetCE.
  • Self-Assessments: a list of any course self-assessments you have completed and saved to your Transcript.

8. Can I get copies of my certificates of successful completion?

Yes, by clicking on the title of a completed course in your Transcript, you may view the certificate information. From there, you may also access a PDF version of the certificate. You may return to your Transcript to print (or reprint) your certificates at any time. If you are unable to view or print the certificates from the Web site, please call (800) 232-4238. CME Resource Customer Service Representatives are available from 8AM to 5PM, Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.

9. Can I save my self-assessment or test answers if I don't have time to finish in one sitting?

Yes, you may save your self-assessment or test to finish later at any time by clicking "Save & Finish Later."

  • To finish a self-assessment in progress, you may click "Complete" under the "In Progress" column in the "Self-Assessments" section of your Transcript.
  • To finish a test in progress, you may click, "Finish Test" next to the name of the course under the "Courses in Progress" section of your Transcript.

10. Can I review and/or print my missed test questions?

Yes, to view and/or print your missed questions and correct answer feedback, take the following actions:

  • Go to My Transcript.
  • Locate your Completed NetCE Activities.
  • Click on the completion date link of the course to see the test feedback.

11. Can I print the course materials to study offline?

Certainly. You may access the full text for any of our courses by clicking on the Course Title, then on Content. A printable version of the course is available from the content page by clicking on the "Download course as Adobe PDF" link.

Yes, to print all of the questions, you may click the "Printable Version" link.

13. Do you report my continuing education to CE Broker?

CME Resource is registered with CE Broker to report continuing education credit for approved Florida healthcare professionals and District of Columbia nurses. We are required to report to CE Broker within 90 days of any course completion, but generally report every 72 hours. The completion date reported to CE Broker may be viewed on your certificate(s) of completion. We always maintain a record of all activities you have completed with CME Resource.

14. Do you report my continuing education to the ABN (Alabama Board of Nursing)?

Yes, we electronically transfer our records to the Alabama Board of Nursing within 24 hours of completion of a course having been entered in our system. The completion date reported to the board may be viewed on your certificate(s) of completion. We always maintain a record of all activities you have completed with CME Resource.

15. Are your courses considered "independent study" or "attended" according to the Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN)?

According to the Alabama Board of Nursing, CME Resource courses are considered "attended" (of which you may complete all required 24 contact hours) versus "independent study."

16. Do you offer a course to fulfill the Pain and Pain Symptom Management requirement for the Michigan Board of Nursing?

According to the Michigan Nursing Board, because the description of the required course content in the Administrative Code is so broad, it is up to the nurse to determine whether a course will fulfill the requirement. The board has accepted course 9714, Assessment and Management of Pain in the End of Life and course 9738, Palliative Care and Pain Management at the End of Life to fulfill the requirement. 18. Can I reprint or use part of a course for my own use?

All content on NetCE is copyrighted and may not be reprinted or reused without written consent. To obtain permission to reprint or reuse content from this website or from our print courses, you may submit a written request with our online forms.

19. Can I download courses for my eReader?

All courses are available in eReader format. Download links are located in the Learning Tools section of the course overview and course content page. Once the file is downloaded you may transfer it to your device or open it using eReader software installed on your computer.

20. How do I transfer a downloaded course to my eReader?

To transfer a downloaded course, connect the eReader to your computer (using the USB cable that came with your eReader) and copy the downloaded file onto your device. After disconnecting your device, your course should be in your eReader library.
