Nebraska Psychologists

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

The Nebraska Board of Examiners of Psychologists accepts courses from any provider who is approved by the American Psychological Association.

Continuing Education Requirement

Attention Nebraska Psychologists: On December 20, 2021, Governor Pete Ricketts issued Executive Order 21-18, extending provisions of Executive Order 21-12, including suspension of continuing competency/continuing education requirements for certain licenses. Psychologists are required 24 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.
