Kansas Counselors / Therapists
NetCE has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider,
ACEP No. 6361. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly
identified. NetCE is solely responsible for all aspects of the
programs.
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the
co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of
Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains
responsibility for the content of the programs.
NetCE meets the continuing education requirements as set forth by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
Continuing Education Requirement
The Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board accepts NetCE courses.
LPC, LCPC, LAC and LCAC are required 30 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.*
LMFT and LCMFT are required 40 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.*
LPC, LCPC, LAC, LCAC, LMFT and LCMFT are required a minimum of 3 hours in ethics and a minimum of 6 hours in diagnosis and treatment every two years.
*NetCE courses are considered home study.
