ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The Kansas Dental Board accepts courses from any provider who is ADA approved.

Continuing Education

The Kansas Dental Board accepts NetCE courses.

Dentists are required 60 hours every two years, 2 hours of which must be in ethics, every two years. All hours may be completed by home study.* Dentists who hold a Level I sedation permit must have proof of 6 hours limited to sedation. Dentists who hold a Level II or Level III sedation permit must have proof of 8 hours limited to sedation, which shall include the complications associated with airways and intravenous sedation and their management every two years.

Dental Hygienists are required 30 hours every two years, 1 hour of which must be in ethics, every two years. All hours may be completed by home study.*

*NetCE courses are considered home study.
