Massachusetts Dental Professionals

NetCE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at www.ada.org/cerp.

Continuing Education

Attention Massachusetts Dentists: The governor of Massachusetts has issued an order that the expiration date for occupational and professional licenses will be extended to 90 days following the termination of the state of emergency. The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry accepts NetCE courses.

Dentists are required 40 hours every two years, 20 of which may be completed by home study.* All licensees must complete a course in infection control in the dental healthcare setting.

Dental Hygienists are required 20 hours every two years, 10 of which may be completed by home study.* All licensees must complete a course in infection control in the dental healthcare setting.

Dental Assistants are required 12 hours every two years, 6 of which may be completed by home study.*

*NetCE courses are considered home study.
