Michigan Dental Professionals

NetCE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at www.ada.org/cerp.

The Michigan Board of Dentistry accepts courses from any provider who is ADA or AGD approved.

Continuing Education

The Michigan Board of Dentistry accepts NetCE courses

Dentists are required 60 hours every two years, 20 of which may be completed online and 10 by home study.* A minimum of 1 of the 60 hours must be in pain and symptom management.

Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants are required 36 hours every two years, 12 of which may be completed online and 10 by home study.* A minimum of 1 of the 36 hours must be in pain and symptom management.

All Licensees have a one-time requirement training in identifying victims of human trafficking.

*NetCE courses are considered home study.
