Connecticut Dental Professionals

NetCE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at www.ada.org/cerp.

The Connecticut State Dental Commission accepts courses from any provider who is ADA or AGD approved.

Continuing Education

Attention Connecticut Dentists and Dental Hygienists: Governor Lamont has issued an Executive Order suspending for six months the continuing education requirements for dentists and dental hygienists.  Licensees with expiration dates between April 30, 2020 and October 31, 2020 are not required to complete the continuing education for license renewal. The Connecticut State Dental Commission accepts NetCE courses.

Dentists are required 25 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by distance learning.*
A minimum of 1 of the 25 hours must be in each of the following topics:

Dental Hygienists are required 16 hours every two years, 4 of which may be completed by distance learning.*
A minimum of 1 of the 16 hours must be in each of the following topics:
