NetCE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at www.ada.org/cerp.

The Indiana State Board of Dentistry accepts courses from any provider who is ADA or AGD approved.

Continuing Education

The Indiana State Board of Dentistry accepts NetCE courses.

Dentists are Required 20 hours every two years, 10 of which may be completed by home study.* A minimum of 2 of the 20 hours must be in ethics, professional responsibility and Indiana statutes and administrative rules every two years. Effective July 1, 2019, all practitioners who apply for registration or reregistration for controlled substances must have completed 2 hours of continuing education during the previous two years addressing the topic of opioid prescribing and opioid abuse.

Dental Hygienists are required 14 hours every two years, 7 of which may be completed by home study.* A minimum of 2 of the 14 hours must be in ethics, professional responsibility and Indiana statutes and administrative rules every two years.

*NetCE courses are considered home study.
