NetCE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The Rhode Island State Board of Examiners in Dentistry accepts courses from any provider who is ADA approved.

Continuing Education

The Rhode Island State Board of Examiners in Dentistry accepts NetCE courses.

Dentists are required 40 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.* A minimum of 1 of the 40 hours must be on the CDC Infection Control Guidelines each year.

Dental Hygienists are required 20 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.* A minimum of 1 of the 20 hours must be on the CDC Infection Control Guidelines each year.

Effective January 2, 2020, licensees who prescribe Schedule II opioids have a one-time requirement of 8 hours in any of the following topics:
