Kansas Nurses
In
support of improving patient care, NetCE is jointly accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for
Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to
provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
The Kansas State Board of Nursing accepts courses from any provider who is ANCC accredited.
Continuing Education Requirement
Attention Kansas Nurses: The State of Disaster Emergency, as extended by the State Finance Council on December 11, 2020, will expire on January 10, 2021. Therefore, pursuant to Executive Order 20-64, all complete renewal applications for licenses expired or set to expire between March 12, 2020 and January 10, 2021, as well as any required continuing education, will be considered timely if received by the Board on or before January 10, 2021. Renewal applications received after January 11, 2021 will be considered late, expired or lapsed, and a late fee, if applicable, will be assessed. The Kansas Board of Nursing accepts NetCE courses.
RNs, LPNs and APRNs are required 30 contact hours every two years.
