Connecticut Physicians

In support of improving patient care, NetCE is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

The Connecticut Department of Public Health and Additional Services accept courses from any provider who is ACCME-accredited and awards AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Continuing Education Requirement

Attention Connecticut Physicians: Governor Lamont has issued an Executive Order suspending for six months the continuing education requirements for physicians. Licensees with expiration dates between April 30, 2020 and October 31, 2020 are not required to complete the continuing education for license renewal. MDs and DOs are required 50 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ every two years.

At least 1 hour is required in each of the following every six years:
