Alaska Psychologists

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

The Alaska Board of Psychologist and Psychological Associate Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is approved by the American Psychological Association.

Continuing Education Requirement

Psychologists and Psychological Associates are required 20 hours each year, 10 of which may be taken by individual study.* A minimum of 3 of the 20 hours must be in ethics each year.

*NetCE courses are considered individual study.
