Massachusetts Psychologists

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

The Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists accepts courses from any provider who is approved by the American Psychological Association.

Continuing Education Requirement

Attention Massachusetts Psychologists: Any occupational or professional license, certificate, or registration issued by a state agency or any board of registration or division with licensing authority within a state agency to an individual person that is in good standing and that has expired or will expire during the state of emergency, is extended and shall remain valid until 90 days following the termination of the state of emergency. Psychologists are required 20 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.
