Utah Psychologists
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
The Utah Psychologists Licensing Board accepts courses from any provider who is approved by the American Psychological Association.
Continuing Education Requirement
Attention Utah Psychologists: The Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing is lifting the temporary waiver of “live” CE requirements that allowed licensees to meet their CE requirements online or virtually, but will accept online/virtual CE as “live” CE until December 31, 2022. Licensed Psychologists are required 48 hours every two years, 18 of which may be taken by distance learning.* A minimum of 6 of the 48 hours must be in ethics every two years.
*NetCE courses are considered distance learning.
