Arizona Social Workers

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, NetCE is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.

The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is ASWB approved.

Continuing Education Requirement

The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners accepts NetCE courses.

LCSW, LBSW, and LMSW are required 30 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study. *

A minimum of 3 of the 30 hours must be in behavioral health ethics or mental health law and 3 hours in cultural competency and diversity.

* NetCE courses are considered home study.
