FLORIDA CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANTS

NetCE is approved to offer continuing education to Florida Certified Nurse Assistants through the Florida Board of Nursing, CE Broker Provider #50-2405. NetCE will electronically report successful course completions to CE Broker.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

CNAs are required 24 hours every biennial licensing period. Courses may be completed online or by home study.

Requirements Include:

Bloodborne Pathogens, Infection Control;
Domestic Violence;
Medical record Documentation and legal Aspects Appropriate to Nursing Assistants;
Residents Rights;
Communication with Cognitively Impaired Clients;
CPR Skills;
Medical Error Prevention and Safety.
