NetCE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at www.ada.org/cerp.

The Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is ADA approved.
Continuing Education Requirement
The Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners accepts NetCE courses.
Dentists are required 72 hours every three years, 24 of which may be completed by self-study or corresponded courses.* A minimum of 3 of the 72 hours must be in chemical dependence which may include tobacco cessation, 3 hours must be in infection control and 3 hours must be in ethics or Arizona dental jurisprudence every three years. Licensees who are authorized to prescribe or dispense Schedule II controlled substances and have a valid DEA number or a licensee who is authorized to dispense controlled substances shall complete a minimum of 3 hours of CE related to: opioids, substance abuse/use disorder, or addiction every renewal cycle.
Dental Hygienists are required 54 hours every three years, 24 of which may be completed by self-study or corresponded courses.* A minimum of 3 of the 54 hours must be in infection control and at least 3 hours in one or more of the following areas: chemical dependency, tobacco cessation, ethics, risk management, or Arizona dental jurisprudence every three years
*NetCE courses are considered self-study.
