Delaware Pharmacists / Pharmacy Technicians

In support of improving patient care, NetCE is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

NetCE will report your credit to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), provided that you add your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth to your account. If you select to opt out of entering this information, you agree to not hold NetCE responsible for reporting your credit. The Delaware Board of Pharmacy accepts courses from any provider who is ACPE accredited.

Continuing Education Requirement

Pharmacists are required 30 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.* A minimum of 2 hours must be in medication safety and errors, and 2 hours must be in distribution, dispensing, or delivery of controlled substances; or the detection and recognition of symptoms, patterns of behavior; or other characteristics of impairment and dependency resulting from the abusive or illegal use of controlled substances every two years.

Pharmacy Technicians are not required continuing education at this time.

Licensees authorized to administer injectable medications, biologicals, and adult immunizations are required 2 hours related to injectable medications, biologicals, and adult immunizations every two years.

* NetCE courses are considered home study.
