Washington Pharmacists / Pharmacy Technicians

In support of improving patient care, NetCE is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

NetCE will report your credit to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), provided that you add your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth to your account. The Washington State Department of Health: Pharmacy Commission accepts courses from any provider who is ACPE accredited.

Continuing Education Requirement

Pharmacists are required 30 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.* There is a one-time requirement of 3 hours in suicide screening, referral, and imminent harm via lethal means at first renewal.

Pharmacy Technicians are required 20 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.*

Beginning January 1, 2024, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians are required at least 1 hour of health equity training every two years, including strategies to reduce implicit bias and assess the provider's ability to apply health equity concepts into practice. These hours are included in the total required for renewal.

* NetCE courses are considered home study.
