Oklahoma Psychologists
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
The Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists accepts courses from any provider who is approved by the American Psychological Association.
Continuing Education Requirement
Psychologists are required 20 hours each year, all of which may be completed by distance learning.* HSP-certified Psychologists are required to complete a minimum of 3 of the 20 hours in ethics, relevant laws and legal issues, and/or applicable professional practice guidelines and standards. All Psychologists are encouraged to fulfill a portion of their continuing education requirements in the areas of ethics, professional conduct, and related legal issues.
* NetCE courses are considered distance learning.
